Our history

Cozy, warm and modernist symbol of the city. This is how Reñé Restobar is defined, an old confectionery and chocolates factory that Reñé family opened in 1892 and, later, in 1910, transformed into a recognized bakery in Barcelona.

Located in the Eixample district, the place maintains the original decoration of Enric Llardent, which combines a pleasant interior with large showcases, plaster ornaments on the ceilings and mahogany wood from Cuba, with the spectacular marble basements that make up the showcases of the exterior façade, of modernist style, and declared a historical heritage of the city.

A trip along the Barcelona Modernist Route that culminates in an evocation of gastronomic art.
